UPDATE: Shane Edward Riley has been found and arrested

UPDATE: Shane Edward Riley was located and arrested early last week. He is currently in custody in Saskatchewan and does not have an Alberta Provincial Court date at this time. The Lloydminster RCMP thank the public for their assistance in locating him.

The Lloydminster RCMP General Investigative Service (GIS) with the assistance of the Lloydminster Crime Reduction Unit (LCRU) had a search warrant to enter a residence in the 5600 block of 53 Ave. recently.

Police found five long rifles, a restricted pistal with ammunition, several debit and fuel cards, along with numerous knives and swords. RCMP also found stolen cheques from local businesses, 12 grams of a substance suspected to be fentanyl and 25 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine.

Korey Douglas Long, 34, Kimberly Dawn Mason, 26, Shane Edward Riley,34,  and Reena McCallum, 38, all of Lloydminster have been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Long was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of property obtained by crime, failing to comply, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, fraud under $5000 and forgery.

Long was arrested and had a court appearance on March 3. McCallum and Mason are scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on April 14.

However, Riley’s whereabouts are currently unknown and he is wanted by the RCMP. He is considered to be armed and dangerous and RCMP ask anyone with information to call the Lloydminster RCMP at 780-808-8400. To remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
