Mannville man arrested for criminal harassment

RCMP have arrested a male who was harassing a female minor.

Vermilion RCMP responded to a complaint regarding a male suspect repeatedly making unwanted contact with a female minor on June 3. The next day, with the assistance of Kitscoty RCMP, the Vermilion RCMP executed a search warrant at a Mannville residence.

Jim Douglas Wilson, 32, of Mannville was arrested and is charged with the following:

Criminal Harassment – 1 count

Breach of Release Conditions – 6 counts

Breach of Probation – 2 counts

Possession of a Weapon contrary to Prohibition Order – 1 Count

Wilson is scheduled to appear in Vermilion Provincial Court on June 15.
