The Vegreville Sunshine Club in conjunction with Perogies and Jam co-hosted the two-time Grand North American Fiddle Champion Calvin Vollrath on November 4, who put on a sensational afternoon concert with the help of a few special guests.

Vollrath lives in St. Paul and is well known in the music community. He has composed more than 700 original fiddle songs, and was instrumental in founding the Emma Lake Fiddle Camp located north of Prince Albert, as well as teaching at the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Association music camp since its inception in 1996. More recently, Vollrath started his own camp, Camp Calvin, in 2007 and mentors unmeasurable numbers of students each year…
