Wye Elementary makes top ten in CBC music challenge

Grade 6 students at Wye Elementary School made the top ten list in the Elementary instrumental category in the Canadian Music Class Challenge. They submitted a recorder arrangement of Raffi’s Must Be Santa.
CBC Music organized the contest with more than 15,000 students and 1,000 classes across Canada submitting a song. It wrapped on December 18th, 2018.

Wye School has a history of excellent and it continues. You don’t need to have roots in this community as long as mine to appreciate the value of a name, and it’s history.
