EIPS opens registration for returning students

Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) registration for returning students begins February 1.

EIPS families will be notified via email asking to confirm their child’s enrolment for the upcoming school year. Parents/guardians can do so by filling out an online returning student registration form, which is found on the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Those applying for students to attend a non-designated school, or out of boundary program, must be completed for returning students in grades 1 – 12 during this registration process, which ends February 28.

Acceptance depends on available space and resources, with the exception being students who move into the division from outside the geographic area, or another community in the division, following the deadline.

EIPS notes some schools will have closed boundaries due to high enrolment numbers and will not accept non-designated students for the 2019/20 school year.
