Grammys 2020 Fashion coverage: Best dressed stars

The Grammy Award Ceremony took place January 26 and we take a look at some of the best dressed celebrities of the night.

It is award season, but before the most appreciated award event in the movie industry happens, there are many that come before such as, the Emmys, Golden Globes, Grammys, and and the Oscars.

To celebrate the music achievement, the Grammy’s are deemed equally as important as the Oscars. It is also when the fashion choices of the stars come to light. Sporting new looks, different stylings, fashion and beauty trends are all allowed.

Last night’s Grammys were held under the shadow of the horrible news that moved the world – the tragic passing of the basketball star Kobe Bryant and his daughter. However, the event went on with tribute paid to the star.

Here is a list of the best dresses celebrities that walked the Grammy’s red carped on Sunday night.

The most nominated artist of the night, Lizzo, has a real Cinderella moment at the Grammy’s red carpet. She wore a sequin-adorned white strapless gown from Versace and a feathered shawl. To complete the look, her neck was covered in diamonds and Old-Hollywood waves hairstyle.

Ariana Grande

After her decision last year not to attend the Grammy’s as a sign of protest, this year Ariana Grande made a return and she looked like a modern day princess. Wearing a voluminous ruffled tulle gown in light grey under Valli’s signature, she turned heads with her outfit. The layered gown was accompanied with matching long gloves, which did resemble a look of a princess from the fairytales.

Cardi B

Believe it or not, the rapper looked stunning in a gown that provide total coverage – something that was really not expected from Cardi B. Her Mugler gown was extra-long, sheer and covered in crystals.

The Jonas brothers

The famous trio looked more than dapper on the Grammy’s red carpet. Similar but not identical, this boy band headed toward black and gold combination, with suits unique for this glamorous occasion.

Gwen Stefani

Staying true to her fashion style, Stefani rocked a short ivory Versace mini-dress with flower details. To complete the look, she paired the dress with matching over the knees heeled boots.

Chrissy Teigen

The twitter queen and the wife of John Legend, brought some freshness and colour on the red carpet in the orange flowing and revealing Yanina Couture gown.
