Holiday in the hallway warms spirits

The Village of Innisfree Library hallway was packed with shoppers and bidders looking to take home some interesting and beautiful items as the organization held its annual Holiday In The Hallway on Wednesday, November 20.

Tables of items in the silent auction and White Elephant auction, all donated in support of the Innisfree 4H clubs, Quilting Queens, Ukrainian Dancers, Innisfree Kindergarten and the Village of Innisfree Library, lined the hallway and even spilled over into the neighbouring rooms of the Innisfree Millennium Building.

Bidding was frantic near the end of the silent auction as bidders watched in anticipation as the time to close the bids drew nearer. This year also featured a live auction of a few items and as auctioneer Pete Conway worked hard to grab bids from the crowd, bidders battled it out to claim the items.

A delicious light lunch and beverages were provided to nourish the shoppers as they enjoyed the evening of socializing.
