Lakeland Collage lands on Alberta’s Top 75 Employers list for 2023
Lakeland College has made the list of Alberta’s Top 75 Employers for the seventh consecutive year. The announcement came on January 31, 2023 when Mediacorp Canada Inc. released the competition results.

Lakeland College was chosen for the following reasons. The College has a range of amenities for employees to utilize, which includes onsite food options, campus spa, a salon with discounted prizes, and employees can use the fitness facilities along with the equine centre.
Employees also have access to Lakeland’s health benefits plan, which allocates $950 per year to health and/or wellness spending accounts. Employees get 10 paid sick days per year and up to 12 paid personal days. They’re also given a defined benefit pension plan and retirement planning assistance. There is also phased-in work options for employees soon set to retire.

Lakeland College was founded in 1913 and has more than 6,400 students each year at its campuses in Vermilion and Lloydminster and through their online and off-site programs. The college has 313 full-time employees.
