Lloydminster woman charged with second degree murder

The police responded to a call around 8:30 a.m. regarding an adult male reportedly deceased, inside a residence on 47A Ave. on August 25.

The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes United took over the investigation and arrested an adult female in connection to the death.

Elaine Behm, 49, of Lloydminster has been charged with second degree murder in relation to the death of Darren Behm, 51.

She is scheduled to appear in Lloydminister Provincial Court on August 27.

An autopsy has been scheduled. The RCMP are not looking for any other suspects in this investigation.
