RCMP find Methamphetamine and cash in vehicle during patrol
Fort Saskatchewan RCMP were on Westpark Boulevard conducting pro-active patrols on September 4.
At 8:40 p.m. police found a driver to be carrying an expired license and had an arrest warrant.
An investigation was launched and two people were arrested. A search was conducted after the arrest and police seized more than 35 grams of suspected Methamphetamine, digital scale and $1425 in Canadian cash.
Nancy Kanarek, 54 and Clifford Aitken, 49 of Athabasca have both been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
They are both scheduled to appear in Fort Saskatchewan Provincial Court on October 1.
