Vegreville Corn maze has a new mascot

If you attended the Vegreville Agricultural Society’s Deerland County Fair parade last week, then you got a sneak peak at their new mascot.

Mazy The Mascot will meet and greet people at this year’s corn maze, which opens in September.

The Vegreville Corn Maze introduced Mazy the Mascot, after a successful inaugural season in 2020. Mazy is an ear of corn, almost 7 feet tall and will be used to meet and greet with visitors at the corn maze next month.

Town of Vegreville Councillor and Vegreville Corn Maze Committee member, David Berry thought up the concept and then worked with his daughter Britney to digitally design Mazy. Then they had I M C – International Mascot Corporation, located in Edmonton bring Mazy to life. This project was sponsored by Bilyk Financial.

The Vegreville Corn Maze opens for the season September 11 and will run every weekend until October 10. Follow them on Facebook by clicking here.
